You don’t have to know what to do
After 15 years photographing families, portraits and weddings, the technical stuff is second nature to me. I’m not anxiously checking the back of my camera or going quiet while I work out what to do next. I know what we’re doing. And more importantly, you don’t have to.
You don’t need to know where to stand, what to do with your hands, where to look, how to get the kids to cooperate, or how everyone is supposed to look natural when there’s a camera pointing at you. That’s my job. I’ll guide you through all of it.

You don’t need to keep tabs on any of it. I'll make sure we don't miss anything.
Locations and outfits, sorted.
You don’t need to have any of the details worked out before you book. I’ll guide you through it all, so it never feels like another thing you have to organise.
I’ll suggest locations that suit you, then show you real sessions photographed there so you can see exactly what to expect.
Then we’ll sort out what to wear.
I’ll put together a Pinterest board for inspiration, help you work with what you already own over FaceTime, or if you’re out shopping, just send me photos and I’ll help you choose.
Four steps to photos you'll never regret
Step 1.
Book your shoot
Choose your package and session date, then fill out a short questionnaire so I can get to know you before we meet. From there, I’ll help you choose a location that suits your family and the kind of photos you love.
Step 2.
Get ready
Next, we’ll sort out what everyone is wearing. I’ll help with colours, outfits and how everything will work with your location. We can even do a FaceTime wardrobe audit, or you can send me photos while you’re shopping.
Step 3.
Enjoy your shoot
This is the easy bit. I’ll take charge of the session and guide you the whole way, so you can relax and enjoy being with your family. No wondering where to stand or what to do next.
Step 4.
Choose your photos
Within 14 days, your gallery will be ready. You’ll choose your favourite photographs, download the images included in your package, and have the option to add more or order prints if you’d like.

I’ve been photographing Brisbane families for more than 15 years, but I’m a Mumma too.
My own girls are young adults now and, if I’m honest, I’m still not quite sure how that happened.
They don’t need me in the same way anymore. I’m definitely no longer the centre of their universe, and I really miss some of those ordinary little things I barely thought about at the time.
So when I’m telling you to get in the photos, I genuinely mean it. Not because every stage of family life is wonderful. It isn’t. But one day you’ll be really glad you have photos of what it looked like while you were right in the middle of it.
